Looking for someone to take over my lease in a 1 Bedroom apartment in Stuyvesant Town from October 15- March 31 when the lease ends. Move in Oct 15 and get the rest of October for free. It will be unfurnished, but if wanted I can leave the Couch, Coffee Table, and 6 Drawer Dresser in the bedroom. This is a beautiful big apartment, 750sqft, in a great location. All the upgraded fixtures, bathroom, kitchen and dark flooring. Rent is $3100 a month. It includes all utilities except TV & Internet, but if wanted our current package is $115 a month. I can also add you as an official occupant to the lease. The apartment will be painted back to white as well (i can leave it as-is though if you like it but you will be responsible for painting it white when the lease is up, i will provide the paint and materials.) This room easily fits a King bed, bedside tables on either side, 2 dressers and a work desk. The room is well-lit with one west facing window that faces inside stuytown so there is no street noise. - Bathroom with bath/shower basin, and a full sink basin vanity. - A huge (by NYC standards) 19 x 12 living room, abutting onto a 9 x 8 dining area. This area has its own AC unit, is well-lit with a west-facing window, and currently easily accommodates a 50-inch TV and TV cabinet, 2 large sofas, a large coffee table, book shelves, a side table, a piano, and a 6-person dining table with plenty of room to spare. - A well-appointed and well-lit 9 x 8 kitchen with all the features (4-burner stove, microwave, large refrigerator and electrically controlled gas oven), and plenty of storage for cooking implements, plates, cookery and cutlery. - There are 4 large storage closets located throughout the apartment, 1 by the front door,1 linen closet outside the bathroom, and 2 closets in the bedroom, one is a full walk in closet. - The building has a full laundry on the ground floor with washing machines and dryers and a bike room THE AREA The apartment is literally a 3-minute walk into the East Village with access to all the conveniences of PCVST. It is generally a pretty quiet area as the apartment block is set away from major roads and PCVST is low density relative to other Manhattan apartments (especially downtown). We think of PCVST as offering 'the best of both worlds' - it is quiet and offers lots of space and green areas particularly by comparable downtown Manhattan standards, but it is right next to the East Village so all the nightlife, restaurants, transport and so on is easily accessible. The most easily accessible train lines are the L (5-7 minute walk) and Union Square Station (15 minute walk) offers access to many major subway lines. PRICING, TIMING & PROCESS - Rent will be approx. $3100 per month; - The apartment is available from October 15th 2016 (no charge for the rest of October), and the lease runs through 31 March 2017; - No broker fee; - Credit Check with Stuytown management and deposit required.
