There is no desk but can use kitchen area pass through counter top along with included tall telescoping chairs or the dining table. Bedroom has an almost new Nectar queen size mattress with new upholstered bed frame. Bedroom has no dresser but two large closets provide plenty of space and shelves within and above them. What do you love about this place? The view is amazing and it's very quiet. Very sunny, lots of light. It's a penthouse unit on the 41st floor with nobody above or on the sides since it's a corner unit. It has high ceilings, giving it a large sense of space. Only this floor in the building has high ceilings. The bedroom and living area share no walls with neighbors (except for a tiny section in the kitchen area) so sleeping/studying/entertaining is not an issue at any time of day, a big deal for NYC. The building location is fabulous in Midtown West very close to all transportation, restaurants, high end stores, Time Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Theater District, Broadway, major corporate offices and headquarters and so much more. Amenities include renovated pool, gym, lounges and BBQ outdoor & lounge area. Items included: Queen size bed & mattress, basic kitchen plates, glasses, utensils, tools, bread toaster, microwave, dish washing machine, full size refrigerator, four burner gas stove and oven, 34" LCD TV, sofa, living room lamp, dining table, coffee table, TV table, tall cocktail table, two ottomans, two telescoping chairs/stools, collapsible workbench, Mile vacuum cleaner, broom, dust pans. Items not included: Bed linens, towels, pillows, comforter, frying pan. What isn't so great about this place? The gym, pool and lounge are spectacular, fully recently renovated but building charges small optional extra fee (ranges $50-$125 per month depending on how many amenities you want access to) to use amenities and not included in rent here but it's available to you and much cheaper than joining an external gym which probably won't have a pool...and much more convenient! There are three large closets but one will be used to store my clothes, books and misc. stuff. Other two closets will be fully emptied. Building management charges application fee to sublet (paid directly to them).
