What are you looking for in a tenant?

I am looking for someone who will appreciate this beautiful sun-filled penthouse apartment with floor to ceiling windows and spectacular views of the city and appreciate the 25% discount I am offering on the actual rent. I hope a prospective tenant will appreciate the conveniences of this apartment. Apart from it being housed in a luxury building with all the amenities, it is adjacent to the Whole Foods market and sits on top of the 2nd Avenue station of the 'F' train line. It is also a block away from China town and Little Italy.

What do you love about this place?

It has two large closets that are adequate for all my clothes and shoes. The full sized kitchen has allowed me to make many gourmet meals. The apartment has upgraded laminate flooring - not the cheap parquet floors found in a lot of apartments. The support staff is very competent and responsive. Food and transportation are very conveniently located

What isn't so great about this place?

The actual rent I am paying for the apartment is rather high $4170/month. I am, however, offering the remaining 6 months on my lease at $3200/month - which is a discount of about 25%. I am leaving NYC and moving in with my daughter in another part of NY State - otherwise, in spite of the high rent I would have continued to live in this apartment.
