What happens after I cancel my plan?

You can cancel your plan instantaneously in your dashboard. The entire process may take up to 30 days to complete because of the time required to:

  1. Notify current tenants of the plan's cancellation

    When a plan is cancelled we will notify each of your tenants. This is so that they know how to contact you going forward. We will provide them with the email address associated with your account. We will also provide them with instructions for any unpaid rent payments and open maintenance issues (if applicable) and information about the treatment of their security deposits.

  2. Return security deposits to tenants

    Security deposits are returned to each tenant along with copies of their most recently completed inspection report and any inspections that have been completed after them. You will be responsible for sending them instructions for resubmitting the deposit and coming to agreements about claims on the deposit.
